You can get an idea of the internet leaders from last year’s winners.

I get a high out of discovering new sites and finding out which of them beats my office firewall.
Amazing it may seem but after an massive upgradation in firewall Stumbling is banned but Twitter works.
Irony of life.

Few? I wouldn’t have heard about at least a dozen of them. I often wonder what do these exercises aim at!

~uh~: If you note the names are pretty interesting docstoc, wetpaint, lulu, hulu, joost……

I too heard of it a couple of weeks back. And in one of the categories my vote went to WordPress, the place where you and I host our respective blogs. It’s a great place for publishing blogs. And of course I thought most of the sites in their list while the reality was that I hadn’t heard of most of them.

~uh~: I guess wordpress, firefox, youtube would be the preferred choice for most people. Let’s see what the results show us. Many of the sites are nominated by their owners for publicity and may not be that popular.

Interesting. I voted in five categories.

~uh~: I was rather surprised to see no categories for ‘movies’ (IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes) . Specialist subcategories like ‘Quotations’ ( Wikiquote, Thinkexist) would be interesting too.
